In the morning of 17 th , May, Doublestar Group donated three million Yuan to the Sichuan disaster area through the Qingdao Red Cross.

　　 A major earthquake measuring 8.0 on the Richter scale jolted Wenchuan County of China's Sichuan Province on 12 th , May. The relief work after the quake affects every member of Doublestar Group. They all gave their hands to the people of the disaster area to help them.

　　People are emotional while disasters are heartless. With the idea of one in trouble, all to help, Wanghai, the president of Doublestar paying a lot attention deployed the donation work personally and announced the internal company donation plan. From 14 th , May, 60,000 staffs from the factories of the tire, the machinery, the shoes and the clothing all over the country as well as the market department are encouraged to donate money and materials to the disaster area, to help the reconstruction of the disaster area.

　　On the morning of 15 th , May, there was a long row before the donation box in the front of Doublestar Group headquarters building. Staffs of different departments participated the donation ceremony enthusiastically such as the institution and the three industries. More than 170 staffs of the institution and the three industries donated more than 80000 Yuan in only half an hour. In the afternoon, on the press conference of the National Man Basketball League Qingdao contest area, the crew of Doublestar Basketball Club donated 30000 Yuan, even the foreign aid McCaughey who has just joined donated 1000 dollars.

　　The earthquake also influenced the Doublestar F-man Chengdu Corporation to a certain degree. The company organized staffs to do self-salvage at the same time summoned all staffs to donate money enthusiastically. They've donated shoes and clothes with the value of 100000 Yuan to Chengdu Red Cross Material Donation Station in the first time and helped the disaster area whole-heartedly.

　　So far, the 300 million Yuan Doublestar Group has donated has been transferred to the disaster area through the Red Cross, which has show the social responsibility of Doublestar Group.
